The FATRAT is the newest member of the RAT family. Using the highly acclaimed '85 Whitefact Reissue RAT as our platform, we added a bass enhancement circuit, a brand new switchable clipping section, and a whole lot more.Clipping Section: Switchable between silicon clipping, as in the classic RAT, and a mosfet/germanium clipping section, which is entirely new to the RAT line. The mosfet clipping section gives you subtle scoop and smoothing in the upper mids throughout the entire gain range of the pedal, and makes the pedal sound more amp-like and natural.
Socketed Opamp: The pedal will ship with the current stock chip (OP07DP). However, changing over to the mythical LM308, or other compatible chips will be a quick and simple mod that you can do solder-free.
Large, CTS Pots: They give you a smooth, even sweep throughout the range of the Distortion, Filter, and Volume controls, allowing you easy access to the myriad of sweet spots in the tone machine.
Fat Switch: Provides a significant bass boost and simultaneous high cut – this makes the pedal more suitable for bass guitar, lower tunings, as well as fattening up and smoothing low gain settings, making this a good candidate for overdrive use.
9 – 18V Operation: Increased headroom and fidelity with 18V operation and less “sagging” as compared to older RATs.

Great value, perfect for our infant room!

Great product, sturdy design and easy to build! It is a fairly light weight item, which aids in the maneuverability of the divider. The color was as described and is dark enough to block the light from our sleeping infants! I do love that you are able to see through the slats and see the child sleeping- if you are looking for something with MORE privacy, this is not it. It has great coverage area and is dark and a wonderful value for the price, however, you are able to see through the areas where each panel connects!

Don’t waste your money or time!

Don’t waste your money. The instructions make no sense and the metal poles are either sized wrong for the product or screw holes are incorrectly placed, but no two poles matched in size and placement making it impossible to put this together without the panels being warped. No matter how I tried to switch the poles to see if I had them wrong, they always turned out warped and incorrectly fit. I finally gave up and threw everything out - I wasted $50 on this junk and because I didn’t try to put it together immediately after I bought it, it is way too late for a refund. Lesson learned!
